The values of HISPANO DEL CID, S.A. are based on responsibility, trust, and integrity. Therefore, our Code of Ethics includes the highest ethical standards as a key and integrating element of HISPANO DEL CID, S.A.’s corporate culture.

As a tool to uphold the principles and values that form part of this culture, we provide this Ethical Channel so that employees, individuals, suppliers, and others may confidentially report, without fear of retaliation, any possible irregularity or breach of the HISPANO DEL CID, S.A. Code of Ethics.

The use of this Channel is voluntary, and all reports must be made in good faith. Actions such as submitting false or distorted information, or information obtained unlawfully, are excluded from protection.

Please note that “communicating or publicly disclosing information known to be false” is considered a very serious offense, punishable under Spanish Law 2/2023 with fines ranging from €30,001 to €300,000 for individuals.

The Ethics Committee of HISPANO DEL CID, S.A. will investigate and assess possible irregularities and resolve matters in accordance with the procedure described in the Code of Ethics.

If you provide an email address in your report, you will receive notifications regarding the progress of the investigation or the closure of the file.

If the reported conduct may constitute a criminal offense, it will be immediately reported to the Public Prosecutor’s Office or the competent authority. If the facts affect the financial interests of the European Union, they will be referred to the European Public Prosecutor’s Office.

If the report is not anonymous, your identity will remain confidential and may only be disclosed to judicial authorities, the Public Prosecutor’s Office, or competent administrative authorities within the framework of criminal, disciplinary, or sanctioning investigations.

When submitting a report through the Ethical Channel, you may choose to remain anonymous or identify yourself. Please note that if you choose anonymity, we will not be able to contact you directly, although you may track the status of your report through a code provided after submission.

HISPANO DEL CID, S.A. also allows users to submit simple inquiries.

You may also report through external information channels of competent authorities or EU institutions, bodies, offices, or agencies.

Both the whistleblower and the persons affected by the report have the right to confidentiality of identity under Article 32 of Law 2/2023.

Whistleblowers are also protected against retaliation under Article 36 and may benefit from support and protection measures under Articles 37 and 38 of the Law.
